Eurovision 2027 Is Coming to Burgas
A major event for our region – and a real opportunity that gives Sunset Resort new momentum for the future.
Dear Owners,
We are delighted to inform you that on 13 August 2026, Burgas was selected to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2027.
Eurovision is not simply a major event taking place in our region. For us as property owners at Sunset Resort, it creates a real opportunity and gives the resort new momentum for the future.
The event is expected to bring significant international attention, more visitors, increased demand for accommodation and new opportunities to expand our rental programme.
Owners’ Meeting – 5 & 6 September 2026
The announcement on 13 August gave us an additional reason to bring the owners’ meeting forward to 5–6 September. We understand that this gives owners relatively short notice, but we believe we should not lose valuable time if we want Sunset Resort to be prepared and make the most of this opportunity.
Practical Questions for Us to Consider
To create real, long-term financial value for us as owners, we need to discuss the investments and improvements required, the quality of maintenance and services, and the further development of the rental programme. There are several practical questions for us to consider:
- 1 What still needs to be restored and improved, and what investments will be required
- 2 How we can optimise costs
- 3 How we should proceed with individual electricity and water connections
- 4 How we can further develop the rental programme and take advantage of increased tourist interest in the region
- 5 And, most importantly, how we can increase the value and attractiveness of our properties
There should be no “us” and “them” among neighbours. No owner should feel that they have to choose a side in order to be heard.
Owners and Neighbours
We may come from different countries, hold different opinions and have different perspectives on the past, but there is something far more important that brings us together – we are all property owners and neighbours at Sunset Resort.
We do not expect everyone to agree. Different opinions are natural in such a large international community. What matters is that we discuss them openly, listen to one another and work together to find solutions that reflect the interests of all owners and the realities we face today.
This is why it is so important for us to meet in person in September – as owners and neighbours – and have an open and constructive discussion.
Its Future Is Our Shared Future
We cannot change the past. But we can learn from it and use those lessons to shape a better future. Each of us owns a part of Sunset Resort. Its future is our shared future.
